Warm up Game: who’s that? -T divides the class into two + sister groups: group A & B. + grandfather - T shows the pictures + grandmother -T explains how to do play + father game (SS look at the picture + mother and choose the right + brother answer). - T models the game - T lets SS play game - SS play the game in groups - T decides the winner.
10’ II. New lesson
1. Listen and repeat. - T introduce the sounds /br/ br brother and /gr/. - T asks Ps to give which gr grandmother sounds in Vietnamese are similar to, and then have Ps read words after you. - S’s practice the sounds carefully.
- T plays the CD.
- T asks S’s look at the book, listen to the CD and repeats the chant. - S’s listen and repeat the chant in chorus. - T asks S’s practice in pair. - T asks some pairs to ask and answer.
- T asks 2 or 3 pair ask and
answers 10’ 2. Listen and write. - Tell students look at the sentences. - Teacher elicits the sentences - Ask students guess and write the suitable words to fill in the blank.
- Play the recording 2 times
students to listen and fill the blanks. - Ask students check their guess and compare the answer with the partner. - Play the recording again students check their answers.
