V. Pagsusulat (how far have we gone?)

V. KARAGDAGANG GAWAIN (WALKING THE EXTRA MILE)

atin itong mas ipalaganap at paunladin.

Bernardo at Daniel Padilla.
Amsterdam.

CORE05_MODULE10_WHAT-ON-EARTH-ARE-WE-DOING
 Why is it important to clean your environment?
As someone who is hygienic personally, I know very well why it is important for me to
clean myself and my surroundings. I value the persons and things around me so much so I would
not let them be affected by any dirt, my place has to give. I know that my health as well as my
family’s will be at risk if the environment that surrounds us is not clean. The things around me
as well will not be organized and can be easily damaged if so.

 What are the physical, emotional, and mental effects of keeping your place clean and
tidy?
Keeping my place clean and tidy physically allows me to move around the house well. It
helps my things stay organized and easy to find. Pests will be controllable as well and potential
hazards can be limited. It allows me to be emotionally happy if my place is well-organized.
Otherwise, I’ll easily get grumpy. As what the quote says, “cleanliness is next to Godliness”, my
mental state will always be at ease when my place is also always neat. A clean environment
allows me to think things thoroughly and be effective in terms of decision making.

 As a student, what is your role and obligation to the environment?

“Change should begin to oneself”, an infamous quote which allows me to be motivated
in times when my things are getting messy. No one will clean up for me. So not just as a
student, but also as a human myself, it is my duty to keep my things clean and organized
because it is for my own benefit as well. It is also my role to sustain a clean and healthy
environment around me to radiate a positive effect to people around me.

 Overexertion is caused by (D. All of the above)

Some people engage too much in their physical activities that they tend to overdo things they
were not supposed to. Either they reach too far, or lift improperly and too much, this can result
to overexertion. At some point, overexertion bears physical injuries and can be carried for
prolonged time. After being overexerted, you may develop fatigue and may be more prone to
injuries moving forward.

 You can reduce strains and sprains by (D. Always wearing a bandage to protect your
muscles and joints)
One of the best ways to reduce strains and sprains is by compressing them through a bandage.
Bandages reduce swelling, restrict movements that could result to more and worse injuries, and
stabilizes muscles and joints.

student corresponds to only one LRN
2. Not a one-to-one function because more than one element of the domain is paired with
a range if given the solution:
12 = 1, 22 = 4,
-12 = 1, -22 = 4 and so on…
3. Not a one-to-one function. It is a many to one since the number 3 is repeated in the
domain
4. Not a one-to-one function. It is therefore a one to many since there are repeated
numbers or elements in the range.
5. This is a one-to-one function as it suits the exact definition of a one-to-one function
which is no two elements in the domain correspond to any elements in the range and
vice versa
Questions:
1. How did you find the activity?
I found the activity interesting and easy to deal with as if I’m playing a matching type kind of
activity.
2. How are you able to connect this activity in your daily life?
I feel like I can connect this activity in my daily life in terms of my lifestyle. I am both a student
and a worker which makes me multitask and through that, I can say that I am a one-to-many
function.
Practice Exercises (just interchange the variables)

Takaw sa salapi ang siyang dahilan.” This depicts how money became the root of evil for the
persons involved in the poem. The mountain was before full of its natural beauty and resources
but when people were introduced at how much they can gain from this mountain, they were
blinded and started to cause damage to its entirety; to all living creatures within.

Spoken Poetry
MY BEAUTIFUL MAYBE
We're a poem of no rhyme
A clock of no time.
Deemed as an asymptomatic line
Bet our hands will never even intertwine.

You're the great perhaps

That would be better though if for my half
With you is a euphoric feeling I can never describe
No hyperbole could ever decide.
With a voice of lingering euphony
A consonance alone undeniably
Together as a dissonance maybe
We can be, but destructively.

Now just like an oxygen I can't live without

With a hydrogen to clear the doubt.
So, to then shut the imagination,
The us would be a total explosion.

Hence, you'll remain a history

A question of 'what if' between you and me
A perfect almost although undone
Indeed, a great perhaps, my beautiful maybe.
