April 9, 2021 RHR: (Before) 52 bpm We did Zumba dance workouts. Routine
(Asynchronous) (After) 92 bpm included feel-good dances that started with a

a cooldown. I felt very energetic and relaxed
after the dance exercise.
April 14, 2021 RHR: (Before) 52 bpm The class was a lot of fun because we danced to
(Synchronous) (After) 84 bpm songs of Blackpink and did some conditioning.
Duration: 50 mins Some of the movements were new to me which
I found interesting. It was at first overwhelming,
however rewarding because I felt energized and
my mood was lifted after the activity.
April 16, 2021 RHR: (Before) 52 bpm We danced to the Zumba workouts provided
(Asynchronous) (After) 104 bpm before and I enjoyed it much more than the first

and I was able to get in sync with the beat of the
music. I can keep up with the pace of the
routine.
April 21, 2021 RHR: (Before) 56 bpm We repeated similar dances from last week and
(Synchronous) (After) 88 bpm conditioned our legs. I was very sweaty

after the session with the class.
April 23, 2021 RHR: (Before) 56 bpm I executed bigger movements because I did not
(Asynchronous) (After) 108 bpm hesitate too much unlike before. I danced more
Duration: 28 mins confidently than the last week and I achieved a
higher heart rate after the workout.

April 28, 2021 RHR: (Before) 56 bpm For me, the new set of dances became much
(Asynchronous) (After) 108 bpm harder, however the moves were really
Duration: 50 mins interesting and fun to do. I felt the burn in my
body, but it felt good and very worth the sweat.
May 7, 2021 RHR: (Before) 60 bpm The Zumba Dances in Set B have very dynamic
(Asynchronous) (After) 120 bpm movements and I still find them slightly hard to
Duration: 50 mins follow especially because of how fast paced the
steps are, however, it is good to challenge my
body once in a while and overall, the workout
felt great.
May 12, 2021 RHR: (Before) 56 bpm I am starting to get a hang of the movements for
(Asynchronous) (After) 112 bpm this set, and I am currently able to match the

really happy and I definitely feel a great boost
in energy because I was able to do the steps with
better form.
May 19, 2021 RHR: (Before) 60 bpm This dance activity is the last asynchronous
(Asynchronous) (After) 120 bpm activity for the semester so I wanted to do my
Duration: 45 mins best. To my surprise, I was able to do the routine
with very minimal mistakes, I achieved a high
heart rate and I felt confident while doing the
movements, noticing how much I’ve progressed
in performing Set B. I can manage to do the
steps with proper form and without feeling tired
or losing my breath so easily compared to before
May 21, 2021 No Synchronous Activity; It was our final meeting today. We discussed the
(Synchronous) Final Announcements and requirements and mechanics for the final
Final Project Discussion project. We were formed into groups to discuss
the distribution of work among the members
and decide on the theme, music genre and dance
style for our aerobic dance project
