“ICT Training: Video Editing Using Canva and CapCut”
November 19, 2021

The teachers was very grateful as they gathered around in the ICT Classroom last
November 19, 2021 at 9:00 in the morning, for one of the most important topic School Learning
Action session that will surely gave them a learnings. The SLAC started with an opening prayer
led by Ma’am Rovilyn Dela Cruz and followed by the nationalistic song led by Ma’am Lecie
Ann Tejano. The master of the ceremony for this session was Ma’am Jessa Villanueva and the
one who will share her knowledge and expertise in the topic was Ma’am Rizza Saranilla.

This session tackled about the “Video Editing Using Canva and CapCut”. this two
software is very useful and convenient in making video presentation that is very helpful in this
time because of teachers need to make their video lesson to support the learning modules.

Canva can gave you different template that is ready made you don’t need to layout all
you need to do is to choose what template you want, and you are now ready. It is very helpful
because you can erase the unnecessary background of your video easily. Canva can be access
thru online with laptop and when you want a convenience you can also access it with smart
phones just download the application.

CapCut is a very convenient tool that can access both offline and online. It is manageable
application in your smart phone, and it is beginner friendly. The interface and command are very
easy to navigate even the challenged teacher can easily make video presentation using it.

All in all, this session was fun, interesting and enjoyable. The session ended with hands
on learning and presentation of output and giving of certificates
