OBJECTIVES

At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to attain at


least 75% levels of proficiency in:

 To define what is an exercise
 To understand the benefits of exercise

SKILLS/PSYCHOMOTOR

 To perform each basic exercise in a correct and safe manner


 To use learned exercise to interact with each other

“In Aerobic exercises, it


increases your breathing
and heart rate and are
the main component of
overall fitness
programs. Some
common Aerobic
activities include
Jogging, Dancing,
Biking, and Swimming.”

“Second is the strength


exercises which keeps
your bones and muscles
strong and helping older
adults maintain their
independence. Some
examples of this
exercise training include
lifting free, weights,
using resistance
machines, and using
resistance bands.”
“Yes, Sir!”

“The third one is


flexibility. Flexibility
exercises can keep your
body limber and help
you maintain a wide
range of motion. To
improve your flexibility,
you should stretch
various parts of the
body and do yoga.”

“The last exercise is


balance. Balance
exercises can strengthen
the body’s core and
help prevent falls. To
help you practice your
balance, you should
practice heel-to-toe
walking, standing in one
foot, and practice tai
chi poses.”

you ready to perform
the basic exercises?”

“But before that, let’s
recall the different
types of exercise before
proceeding to the gym

will perform a dance
choreography using the
different kinds of
exercises for at least 3
minutes. You can have
adlibs if you want but
make sure that the
basic exercises are
visible.”

“Okay. So, you will be
judged by the given
criteria.”
