Manpower Required :

 Workmen-Rigger, Khalasi, Helpers, etc.

Equipment required :

 Concrete Batch-Mix Plant.

 Transit Mixtures.
 Kerb cutting Machine.
 Marking Pins.
 Kerb concrete laying paver with complete sensor system
 Hand Tools, hammer.

 Safety boad on either ends
 Safety helments & Jackets for workers
 Bamboo delinators

Work Procedure :

 First of all the Area on which kerb is required is to be laid shall be properly cleaned.

 Proper safety arrangements shall be done with safety cones, Bamboo delinators, Safety

boards etc. before commencement of the work.

 The center line for the Road shall be marked.

 The edges of the divider shall be marked on the either sides.

 The string shall be erected and positioned at the required level as per detailed design

drawing.

 The sensor for the kerbing Machine shall be set on the string line and DRY RUN shall be

conduct to check levels and settings of the machine.

 The concrete TM shall be placed on the kerbing hopper Machine as per the position of

kerbing machine and the direction on which kerb is required to be laid.

 Concrete of grade M-20 shall be pored in the hopper and concrete shall be laid as per string

levels by the sensor kerbing Machine.

 The kerb shall be laid in line and level as per detailed design drawing for central verge kerb.

 Slump of concrete grade M-20 shall be maintained between 10-15mm.

 After laying of concrete kerb expansion and contraction joints shall be cutted at interval of

about 15mts with kerb cutting Machine.

 The laid kerb shall be properly cured by application of curing compound or by curing with

water and gunny bag for atleast 14 days.

 After completion of kerb on either side it shall be filled with the soil.
