“Reading to children, even before they can understand word, teaches

them to associate books with love and affection.”

Reading is a fundamental skill that enables the people to function in

today’s society. To learn any skill, children need the opportunity, time and
support. Pungpongan Primary School joins the campaign to help make every
child a reader through the Brigada Pagbasa Implementation 2021.

The focus of this program is to promote literacy and numeracy through

help of the teachers and supportive parents in guiding their children especially
in reading.
