 Use the 3 kinds of adverb appropriately in sentences
 Intensify awareness in the essence of adverbs of time, place, and manner in our
everyday life

Identifying The 3 Kinds of Adverbs in the Given Sentences

At this point allow me to present a game


which has something to do with our
today’s topic. Would you like to play a

The title of the game is Who wants to be
the Topnotcher?. But before we start our
game, let me divide you into 2 groups.
The first group will be the group of the
girls while the second group will be the
group of the boys. Is that clear class? Yes ma’am.

will gain the corresponding points, and
the group who will earn the most points
will be announced as the Topnotcher of

You know class, adverb also modifies


other parts of speech. To know it entirely,

Adverb- A part of speech which is used to modify
a verb, an adjective or another adverb.

The following sentences are the examples


of adverbs modifying verb, adjective and

1. The children ran quickly and happily through
the puddle. ( Verb )
2. Jane was very happy about being good at
challenging sport. (Adjective)
3. Aiza swings the bat very forcefully. (Adverb)

Thank you. Adverb has several kinds, but


the words that you have answered a while
ago are examples of the three kinds of
adverbs that we will be focusing on this

must also be mindful in giving details
pertaining to places so that we will be
