ASSIGNMENT 4 (ASYNCHRONOUS)
1. Research the different skill related component in physical fitness.
 The skill related components are:
Agility
Speeds
Power
Balance
Coordination
Reaction time

2. Define the different skill related component?


 AGILITY – the ability to change and control the direction and position of your body
while maintaining a constant, rapid motion.
 Hexagon Agility Test – it is a simple agility test to perform, requiring
limited equipment and space.
 SPEEDS – the ability to move your body or parts of your body quickly.
 The example of this is the 40-meter sprint to measure running speed.
 POWER – It is the ability to move your body part quickly while at the same time
applying the maximum force of your muscle.
 Basketball Pass – to measure the explosive strength and power of the
upper body muscle.
 BALANCE – the ability to control or stabilize your equilibrium while moving
staying still.
 Stork Balance Stand Test – to assess the ability to balance on the ball of
the foot.
 COORDINATION – the ability to use your eyes and ears to determine and direct the
smooth movement of your body.
 Paper Juggling – to measure the coordination of the individual in the
performance of motor tasks.
 REACTION TIME – the ability to react or respond quickly to what you hear, see, or
feel.
 Stick Drop Test – to measure the reaction time as to how fast a person
can respond to a stimulus, the higher your score, the faster your reaction
time.
