The given line graph illustrates how many enquiries were received by
the Tourist Information Office in three different forms in a city during
the first half of the year 2011.
Overall, the number of enquiries through letter or email decreased
while the opposite was true for those via face-to-face and telephone-
based forms.

In January, the figure for telephone-based enquiries was the highest

with over 900 and doubled that of in-person enquiries. In the next
month, the Tourism Information Office revealed a significant increase
in the number of in-person information requests whereas the
opposite was true for that of telephone-based enquiries. In March,
the numbers of in-person and telephone-based enquiries increased
with an equal quantity of 200. Meanwhile, the Tourism Information
Office recorded a gradual downward trend in the number of
information requests by letter or email from roughly 790 to 700
during the first three months.

In the following three months, the number of enquiries by letter or

email continued going down before maintaining stable at
approximately 390. Meanwhile, the number of information requests
by telephone stayed unchanged at the level of 1000 before going up
to 1600 in the end of the given period. It is noticeable that the figure
for in-person information requests kept soaring to roughly 1900 in
June.
