number of unique visitors on its website by 15000 per month by the end of the year.”

What makes this goal specific? Does it provide enough detail to avoid
ambiguity?
Response: The team is focused on redesigning the website, building a new landing page and
a print catalog as the project’s accomplishments. Yes, there is clarity on what is to be done
and who is to be involved and that is the Marketing team,

What makes this goal measurable? Does it include metrics to gauge success?
Response: The goal will be accomplished when the number of unique monthly visitors on the
company’s website will increase by 15000 each month and the customer base to increase by
15%. Yes, the metrics used are the number of unique customers each month.

What makes this goal attainable? Is it realistic given available time and
resources?
Response: Office Green and specifically the Marketing team have the necessary resources,
knowledge, people and time to redesign the new website, build a new landing page and a
print catalog. Yes, because the team have identified the means to which they can accomplish
the goal.

What makes this goal relevant? Does it support project or business objectives?
Response: Office Green looks to improve their website visits and the rebranding helps attain
that. Yes, Office Green has a business model that relies on internet advertisement for sales of
their products.

What makes this goal time-bound? Does it include a timeline or deadline?


Response: Office Green looks to increasing its revenue by 5% by the end of the year through
improving its brand awareness by the end of the year. The project is scheduled to launch by
the end of the third quarter. The project team will continue to collect data on the project's
progress through the rest of the year and assess how well it has met its goals at the end of
the fourth quarter. Yes, the deadline is the end of the year.

SMART Goal Two: “Office Green wants to increase the customer retention rate by
at least 10% by the end of the year”

Response: Office Green has identified increase in customer retention as their goal in the
project and has plans to an Operations and Training plan to improve customer service and
boost efficiency. Yes, it is clear what is to be done and who is involved.

What makes this goal measurable? Does it include metrics to gauge success?
Response: The project looks to increase customer retention by at least 10%. The metrics to
be used is the number of customers retained in a percentage.

What makes this goal attainable? Is it realistic given available time and
resources?
Response: Office Green has the knowledge and data from the previous year, it has plans to
create an Operations and Training plan, has the resources and personnel to improve
customer satisfactions and retention. Yes, Office Green has provided adequate plans,
resources and information to attain this goal.
