Project Title The Game

Section 1: Rationale (Approx 100 words)

I have chosen this kind of project because I wanted to make a story off what I enjoy doing, and I decided on a fifa
game and I want to take inspiration from films that show people playing a game in real life. I want to challenge
myself slightly in the edit and I want to start to use graphic effects in my piece to learn something new and
challenge myself.

Section 2: Project Concept (approx 200 words)

I want to use the theme of Simulation vs Reality and I want to show how kids use it all the time as a way to
escape reality. I want to portray this by having my main character come home from school/college and go
straight to the computer to get on FIFA with his friends straight away, they want to go into the survival game
mode and they do, but they get sucked into the machine and have to play the game in real life with some random
people, every time someone scores a person on the other team gets ‘eliminated’ from the game. Everyone dies
except the main character throughout the game and then the last shot is realising what he thought was a
simulation was actually reality.

Section 3: Evaluation Methods (approx 50 words)

I will get feedback from peers and feedback from my pitch and my teachers
throughout the process, once the video is completed we will be showing our videos to
the rest of the class as another way to get feedback and to help with some reflection.
I am going to keep a regular blog every week / 2 weeks of what I have done and still
need to do.
