Activity 1. Where Do I Belong?
This activity will help you to classify the expression into
rational algebraic expressions or not rational algebraic
expressions based from the given definition.
Direction: From the given expressions, place the cards on
circle A, if it is a rational algebraic expression and in circle B

(WHO) is working with an International Network of statistic
to estimate the Fatality rate of mortality from COVID-19
In Philippines Over 363 thousand people have been
infected by COVID-19 so far, and 6 thousand have lost their
lives.(Report on Oct.23,2020)

There are two measures to determine the proportion of


infected individuals with fatal outcomes.

1. Case Fatality Ratio (CFR)


2. Infection Facility Ratio(IFR) estimates the
proportion of deaths among all infected individuals

Can we write the percent into fractional form? (The


students will convert percent to fractional form)
