3. Once the mobile crane has been rigged, the lifting crew will arrange all the slings and chains ready close to the precast
platforms and position the slings or chain around the each precast one after the other for proper lifting from the ground floor
level to the roof top of the building.
Safety Check:
*Valid third-party certificate shall be available prior to using the lifting gears use such web slings & chain sling.
*Cherwell site supervision team shall visually inspect all lifting gears and equipment prior to every use.
4. Next is to attach the mobile crane sling to the p r e c a s t p l a t f o r m s lifting anchorage point. Ensure that adequate
distribution of sling angle to avoid overturn or outbalance of load during the lifting.

Weather Conditions
The Appointed Person or, in his absence, the Crane Supervisor, will ensure that the lifting operation only
takes place if the weather conditions are within the limits recommended by the crane manufacturer.
Contingency Statement:
The lift plan and method statement may only be amended by the Appointed Person who has
compiled this lift plan and method statement for the lift. Should there be a change in the
procedure or environment, the lifting task is then to be stopped and the Appointed Person
informed accordingly of the change.
