1. Some substations were upgraded from 500KVA and 750KVA to 1000KVA JCD/MBL

2. MOD requested to modify Phase 1 fence on the agreed boundaries. JCD/MBL

3. The diversion plan was explained by Eng. Ahmad Hakim, and all the points -
of concern of MOD (will be mentioned in this report) were discussed.
4. In MS-4, it was agreed that one loop will be cancelled (serving Phase 1), and JCD/MBL
other two loops will be combined in a single loop.

5. MOD representive Eng. Shahatah requested to remove one joint (joint 5), JCD/MBL
and to connect the cable directly to SS-403.
6. MOD representive Eng. Shahatah requested to keep one of the main feeders MBL
of SS-441, and not to shift it to a new feeder.

7. MOD representive Eng. Shahatah requested to include the diversion of SS- MBL
508 and SS-625 in the report.
8. MOD requested another study, which is connecting the substations that are MOD/JCD/MBL
inside phase 2 and were previously served from phase one, to the existing
MV switchgear that is currently inside phase 2. This means that the cables
that are feeding the loads inside phase 2 are to be shifted to substation
already existing inside phase 2.
However it was agreed that this option is not required because it needs a lot
of excavation inside phase 2.
9. It was agreed that there is no need for MOD to witness the low voltage MBL
disconnection.

10.MOD representive Eng. Shahata requested to keep the MV loop that is MOD/JCD/MBL
feeding the camp in operation.

11.It was stated that the load calculations of the MV Switchgear are based on
the full capacity of the substations (rated capacity) and not on the demaind

load.
12.MOD representive Eng. Shahata requested that the MV Switchgear to be
supplied with earthing for each section

13.The connection of the incomers of the new MV switchgear was discussed.


And it is agreed that a joint will be made at MS-6 to connect the two
incomers from MS-7 and MS-5, and thus MS-7 will be directly connected to
the New MVSG 5&6
14.The proposal of the diversion of MS-1 and MS-8 was not discussed because
it is not yet well studied by MOD. It will be discussed once decided if it is in
the scope or no.
15.The supply of MRMU instead of MV Switchgear will be submitted as JCD/MBL
proposal.
