SITUATION
Nowadays, the society at large is confronted with numerous social problems such as juvenile delinquency, criminality, drug addiction, family conflicts, divorce, population problems to name a few. In
the larger picture, this scenario destroys the very foundation of a nation and its people. And one of the solutions to this problem is to promote the value and sanctity of the family – the smallest
society. Since this is where a person develops from a dependent being to a self-motivated goal-oriented individual, it is, therefore, important to trace the roots of and appreciate our lineage to aid us
in solving current pressing social concerns.
