REALIZATION, INSIGHT AND LEARNINGS
How can you describe a good leader? How does a good leader contribute to the overall
performance of the group in achieving their objectives?
Student’s Answer:

Before we describe what, a good leader is, we must know what leadership is, Leadership is taking full
responsibility for the whole team, or group. Leadership shows respect, trust, and concern for the group. It is
different from the boss. Leadership shares the team's agony and achievements, unlike the boss who
blames the team and gets all the achievements of his team. Leadership shows he's ready for the sacrifices
that must be made, he must show hope, role model, and trustable leader. He must be responsible for giving
appropriate task to the group, attractive, can unite and discipline the team.

After explaining what leadership is, we can now describe what a good leader is. It is very simple, his
leadership skills must be high, or acceptable. As we describe what leadership is, he must have some or all
the characteristics of what leading a team is. First important thing must be a leader must be respected by
the whole team, and the leader must respect the whole team as well. Next is the leader must be ideal, like
smart, strong, responsible, something that can attract the members that gives them hope and trust to
that leader. Next is he must be decisive, decisions are very important to leaders, only a leader that is
ready to make sacrifices is the one that can lead the team, without doubts and plans everything with great
thinking skills. A good leader can contribute by making proper decisions and plans. He must have the
strong desire and trust for his team to win.

A good leader must have leadership skills, something that can attract his members, like smart, strong
or talented etc., He must be ready to make sacrifices. He can give hope, trust, motivation and become
reliable as he should be. Leading a team is hard, it takes a great responsibility, most of the pressure is on
the leader, and he must take all the blame and also the achievements of the team.
