PRE-LESSON (5 MINUTES): Applying


21st century learning
1. Teacher prepares flashcards containing pictures of transportation before
the class according to students’ numbers. (Attachment 1)
2. Teacher greets students.
3. Teacher states the objective for the lesson.
4. Teacher distributes the flashcards randomly to students.
5. Students look at the flashcards secretly and come up with any action or
sounds or words that come to their mind about the transportation.
6. Teacher explains in depth about the activity.
- “I will choose some students randomly to act as the
transportation in their flashcards and other students need to
guess what the transportation is based on the action and
description.”

7. Students take turns one after another to ask questions to the actors to
encourage students’ discussion.

information that you got from the audio, then I will ask
questions about it later.”

3. Teacher plays the audio twice to the class and asks students to listen.
4. Teacher gives questions to students and lets them answer.

· What is another name for electric bikes?
· Where does the power for electric bikes come from?
· What is the fastest speed for electric bikes?

Possible answers:

ACTIVITY 2 (10 MINUTES)

1. Students are asked to open their Pulse textbook, Page 77. (Attachment 2)
2. Students listen to the teacher reading questions from Exercise 6 in the
textbook carefully.
3. Students are divided into 6 groups of 5.
4. Students listen to the teacher's explanation in depth about the task.
- “I am going to play Audio 2.48 again. Please listen and answer
all the questions on Exercise 6 after listening to the audio.”

5. Teacher plays Audio 2.48 once again to the class and asks students to
listen carefully.
6. Students discuss in groups and write the answer in a note based on the
audio.
7. Students are picked randomly to answer the question verbally, and then
discuss the correct answer with the class.
- “I will choose representatives from each group to answer the
questions and we will discuss together.”

POST-LESSON (5 MINUTES) Values


1. Teacher asks pupils to summarize the topic that they learn today.
2. Teacher asks pupils to finish the worksheet that has been prepared after
class and the teacher will present the answer by next class. (Attachment 5)
3. Teacher recaps the lesson.
