Critical points- SG Package

1.Supply of Transformers

Matter most urgent. Ordering to be done immediately to meet start up power requirements.
(Transformers in LMB Scope =87nos.: Oil Type – 81nos; Dry Type – 6nos)

LMB has been asked to order the transformers by May-22 in last MRM dtd 06.05.22.

2.Manpower

LMB last commitment 1480 Nos. vs present Man power 1300 Nos.

LMB last commitment 20 Nos. Welders VS present welders. 15 Nos.

Urgent requirement

-Additional man power to be increased in Civil Works

- 150 Nos. Civil works.

-Additional man power to be increased in Mech Works – 50 Nos.

-LMB need to immediately increase No. of Welders to 20 to achieve PP joint targets without backlog.

3. Design and Drawings

-Slow Engineering Progress.

4. Boiler# 1

Shortfall in erection to be made up.

Back-end Str. supplies to be expediated.

Structural Supply from Tier#7 to Tier#9 is yet to be completed.

Complete staircase on both sides, floor grating, handrails, lift approach to boiler top etc. to be
expediated. LHS stair case completed however RHS stair and balance grating materials are still to be
expedited.
5. Boiler#2

Supply of 01 primary column in 6 th tier and K-K1 columns beyond tier3 is pending.

Supply of secondary structures, gratings, handrails and staircase beyond tier-4 etc is to be
expediated.

Comprehensive plan of CG jack up by June-22.

Non-availability of Temporary lift which is planned to come from another project.

6. ESP-1

Major concern as LMB informed that KCC backed off to work with the project to supply ESP material.

Supply of balance casing & casing structure, roof girders and structures to be expediated for
ensuring material supply for meeting BLU requirement.

7. ESP-02

Only 620 MT received at site out of 8200 MT, Supply of balance structures needs to be expediated.

8. ESP Control Building-01 and 02.

Structural supply to be expediated.

Erection agency to be finalized.

9. FGD

Ordering of Valves and Rubber lining for absorber is pending.

Structural supply to be expediated, Erection front to be expanded and progress to be increased.

Erection in only 03 tanks is in progress, erection in balance tanks also needs to be resumed.

10. AHP

- Structural and BOI Supplies to be expediated.

-Award or erection agency to be finalized.

11. CHP

-Award or erection agency to be finalized.

-Structural supply including deck sheet to be expediated.

12. Chimney

- Chimney concrete lifts to be resumed which is in stand still for 1 month due to severe honey comb.

-Supply of flu can and ordering of borosilicate to be expediated.

13. Balance Civil Works

AHP control room & Switchgear room, Gypsum dewatering Building and Ball mill building(super
structure): Release of RFC drawing & early commencement of works - dwg to be released

14. Roads and drains

Roads, Drains and culvert almost standstill. LMB to submit PO of new vendor and Works to be
resumed immediately so as to complete it before upcoming monsoon to avoid water logging and
stoppage of works.
