maslinarstvo i vinogradarstvo.
The specific geomorphological characteristics of Montenegro, its geographical position, climate and social circumstances determined the ways of the economy, affecting the entire lifestyle of the population. The main economic activity of the Dinara zone was the livestock
production, while in the Adriatic zone fishing, olive growing and viticulture predominated. Agriculture was also present to a lesser or greater extent, depending on the availability of arable land. In karst regions, the land was processed by simple tools, a variety of hoes, shovels,
pickaxes (kazma), while on larger surfaces land was plowed using a pair of yoked oxen.
