VIRTUAL LAC SESSION
Talumpok IS Refresher II:
New Panoramic Approach for This Dynamic Epoch

Learning has always been a part of our daily life. As a 21 st century

teachers we should continuously improve our knowledge and skills in
teaching in the new normal. That is why this virtual LAC session focuses on
refreshing our brains and honing our skills in the field of technology.
The program started at 9:30am with a prayer and patriotic song
followed by the checking of attendance by Sir Ronnie Landicho and Sir
Richard Limsiaco. The statement of the purpose was given by our dear
principal Mrs. Paulina De Torres followed by a quick orientation of Ma’am
Ronalie P. Andal our LAC Leader. After the orientation, the discussion about
the first topic of LAC session started. The topic about utilizing the rudiments of
Canva was discussed by the following resource speakers Ma’am Clarice
Manalo and Ma’am Megan Panapanaan. Ma’am Clarice discussed the
history and basics of Canva followed by hands-on workshop of using Canva
facilitated by Ma’am Megan. All of the teachers participated in the said
activity. The output was collected thru a Google drive provided by Ma’am
Aimee and Ma’am Jasmine. After the first part of the training, the participants
took their health break.
The second part started at around 12:30 in the afternoon. The topic
about Maximizing the Use of PPT, Google slides & Google Docs was discussed
by our resource speaker Ma’am Tricia Africa. Ma’am Tricia explained the use
of Google Docs and Google slides. She also made use of the google drive
and collaborated with the teachers thru the use of google slides real time.
After the active participation of the teachers, it’s time for to redeem
their energy. The icebreaker was led by Ma’am Angelica Macalalad and
Ma’am Marriel Nagales. The awarding ceremony then happened. The
winners for Canva presentation are Ma’am Dianne 3 rd place, Ma’am Princess
Bellie 2nd place, and the firstt place goes to Sir Adonis. On the other hand, the
winners of for Google Slide presentation are Sir Lance 3 rd place, and the first
place goes to Ma’am Lanie.
The program ended with the closing remarks of Six Alex Landicho at
around 4:00pm.
