Activity No. 1 Rubber band Guitar


I. Objective: Explain how vibrations produces (The students do
sound their activity)
II. Materials Needed:

Box
Rubber bands
Pencils (optional)

III. Procedure
1. Stretch the rubber band around the tissue
box, so it goes across the opening at the
top.
2. Place one pencil under the rubber band on
each side of the hole.
3. Hold the box with one hand and pluck the
rubber band with the other hand. Take
turns in doing this and explore with more
observations.

with the rubber band.
2. Sprinkle a small amount of salt, sugar, or
sprinkles onto the plastic wrap, as shown in
Figure 2.
