    Objectives:

    - Old: /əʊld/

    - New: /njuː/

    - Big: /bɪɡ/

    - Small: /smɔːl/

    - Long: /lɔːŋ/

    - Short: /ʃɔːrt/

    2. Skills: Listening + Speaking


    3. Knowledge: Students can name the new vocabulary
    4. Attitudes: Students try to remember the new vocabulary.

    Warm-up:
    + Greeting - Greet Ss as they come into the room. 15’
    - Say Hi! (S’s name) 5:00 – 5:15
    - Have Ss say Hi, (T’s name).
    + Dancing - Ss dance an English song: divide into
    two groups.
    + watch video and dance along with
    English song.
    + Review - Vocabulary: Unit 1-4
    + Lead in. - Lead to the new lesson

    A/ Presentation + Practice
    Practice: Review Part C 10’
    - Look at the picture and ask Ss 5:15 – 5:25
    “What can you see?”
    “That’s a big ball or That a small ball”
    - Ss answer.
    - Do the same with other pictures

    Practice: Play a game


    Jumping game - Divided into 2 teams 10’
    - One person from each team will play 5:25 – 5:35
    together
    - T reads the sentence "That's an old bike"
    - If Ss hear the sentence they just read
    correctly, then jump up one step
    - If Ss hear the wrong sentence, then jump
    back one step
    - If Ss make mistakes, they will be
    eliminated.
    - Do the same with other pairs

    Part D: Listen, ask and 15’


    answer. Then Practice 5:35 – 5:50
    - Describe the picture and ask Ss
    - T explains and say
    “What’s that? – That’s an old doll”
    “What are those? – Those are new bikes
    - Ss listen and repeat several times

    Onion - T asks: “What are those?”
    - Ss answer: “Those are new bikes” and pass
    a ball for the next person.
