A. There is a saying, “An Apple a Day Keeps the Doctor Away.” Why do you think we say this about apples?

B. What is your favorite kind of apple?

C. What happens if you plant an apple seed? What exactly does an apple seed grow?

D. Johnny Appleseed spread apple seeds all over the United States. If you could spread a plant all over
the world, what plant would it be?

4. Pen Pal Project: PLEASE remember to write to the next two students on the list and ALSO respond to those
students who have written to you. Let us keep this pen pal project going! Every student should be writing TWO

Mindfulness

Blindfold Taste Test from Very Well Family:

"It’s easy to scarf down food without paying attention to the taste. Get your child to be more in tune with his
taste buds by doing a blindfolded taste test. Blindfold your child and give him a small bite of a specific food, like a
banana or a strawberry. Tell him to move the food around in his mouth for a minute and see if he can tell you
what it is.”
