ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT ON TRAINING WORKSHOP FOR SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL

TEACHERS ON THE PREPARATION, DEVELOPMENT, AND EVALUATION OF
SUPPLEMENTARY LEARNING RESOURCES

The Schools Division of Gapan City scheduled a virtual training for senior high school
teachers about the preparation, development, and evaluation of supplementary learning
resources on October 12–14, 2022. The original date had been changed to October 15, 2022,
a Saturday, so instead of three days, the training workshop was finished in one day.

On the said date, before eight in the morning on October 15, 2022, participants from the
Schools Division of Gapan City had arrived and registered in their different groups. The
opening program began after the participants had arrived. Different messages from the Chief
of the Curriculum Implementation Division, the Assistant Superintendent of Schools, and the
Superintendent of Schools Division were played through a video presentation. The host of the
event introduced the speakers, and Mrs. Rubilita San Pedro, EPS-LRMDS, gave her inspiring
message. The training had begun following the brief opening program. Social Content
Guidelines were discussed by Mrs. Lorna G. Capinpin, Head Teacher III of Cristina David
Pascual National High School, while Copyright and Creative Commons were discussed by
Mrs. Mikaela M. Obrador, Teacher III and OIC Head Teacher I of Gapan South Central
School. After Mrs. Obrador discussed her assigned topic, a breakout session was announced,
and activities for the three groups of participants—the writer's group, the illustrator's group,
and the layout artists' group—were being done simultaneously.

The layout artists group moved to the ALS room, or Alternative Learning System, at Gapan
South Central School. In that room, different topics were discussed: the roles of layout artists
and guidelines in layouting by Katrina M. Sarmiento; the technical specifications of SLM,
LAS, and APW by Glehn Mark A. Jarlego. After the discussion, we had our workshop
activities. When everyone was finished, I presented my output to the group of layout artists.
After the presentation and answering some questions from the participants, we had our short
closing activities, such as a short speech from the speakers and group pictures.
