INDIVIDUAL GAME PROPOSAL

TITLE
If you are given the chance to select a recreational game for the class, what would be the recreational game you
choose? Give the name that can describe your recreational game.

DODGEBALL: Batuhan ng Bola

RATIONALE
Give a short statement of the purpose or reason of your game for the class. Here you may also include an overview
of your activity.

Dodgeball or “Batuhan ng Bola” in Filipino is a team sport where players will try to hit their opponents
with a ball. It is a physical activity perfect for a large group of people, a class, to engage in. This outdoor game
will engage the players’ physical aspects such as developing their physical abilities, such as muscle coordination,
agility, stamina, as well as their aim in throwing a ball. This game will not just be beneficial in physical aspects
but as well in developing teamwork, critical, and strategic thinking in a group. In brief, this game will help its
players physically, mentally, and socially.

OBJECTIVES
List down at least two objectives that you wish your participants to achieve at the end of the activity.

➢ The participants can develop their physical activities such as muscle coordination, agility, stamina, etc.

➢ The participants can develop social skills, therefore developing their critical and strategic thinking
through teamwork, thus creating an environment where they can comfortably work with each other.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PARTICIPANTS

female or male to secure the game is relevant for them or not.

This kind of dodgeball game can be played by everyone as long as they understand and can execute the
mechanics of the game. The participants must be physically able to endure extraneous activities such as running
and throwing a ball. Thus, the participants should be in good shape for their safety, which means they should not
have any injuries in their bodies. Overall, this game is recommended to be played by the age range of children to
young adults who are physically able.

MECHANICS OF THE GAME

Write instructions or the rules on how to play the actual game for the participants.

This game requires at least ten (10) people to satisfy two (2) teams. A large group of people will be asked to be
divided into 2 teams: Red Team and Blue Team. The actual gameplay will have a team in the middle of the
playing ground, and the opposing team divided on each side. The team on each side will have the ball that will be
passed from one side to another. In passing the ball, their goal is to be able to hit the opposing team in the middle
of the playing ground. While the team in the middle of the playing ground goal is to dodge the ball that is targeted
to hit them. Once they are hit, they are out of the playing ground. There will be two (2) actual gameplays with
each team alternating goals. Each gameplay will be 5 minutes long. In determining who won the game, which
team was able to hit more people and left the middle of the playing ground will fewer people wins.
