HOLIDAY JOB REPORT : FORMAL FUNCTION HOSTESS

Introduction :

This report is intended to aim young people to nd a holiday job so they can earn their own
money and also to acquire a sense of responsibility and obligation

The job consists on :

Based on my personal experience working as a formal function hostess, I have to admit that it is
not a very di cult job because you just have to learn some basic protocole rules.

This job consists on guiding the guests and controlling the entrance and capacity of the place
where the event is taking place.

The only problem is the fact of being lots of hours moving from one side to another or maybe just
standing up without being allowed to leave. In addition you must wear a speci c uniform which
normally is not very comfortable neither adapted to the weather conditions.

What I learned from it :

Not surprisingly, I realized that working directly with the public can be extremely stressful,
however it was very satisfactory when some of them came to congratulate us for the work we
were doing.

Recommendation :

All things considered make me having no hesitation in recommending this job, which without the
need of a lot of knowledge, is normally well paid.

Remember that earning some money by yourself is always a great opportunity!
