My reflection in Zumba just seemed like a perfect way for me to get a workout in without
feeling like I’m working out. The class definitely had an energetic and party-like feel. It
was really fun, we stayed active for the whole hour and a half with some water breaks in
between. I've learned to pace myself and give forth energy correctly, rather than exhaust
myself in the first half of class. I've increased my stamina and overcame my fear of
dancing in front of others. My dance has grown a little more expressive. I am gaining
physical fitness as my stamina is building, and I am more capable of doing more activities.
As I am doing an activity that I have grown to enjoy, and I am becoming closer to the
peers I do Zumba with.
