1. THÔNG TIN VỀ MÔN HỌC
1.1 Tên môn học: Đọc hiểu 1 Mã môn học: ENGL1302
1.2 Khoa phụ trách: Khoa Ngoại ngữ
1.3 Số tín chỉ: 3 (45 tiết)
2. MÔ TẢ MÔN HỌC
Môn học Đọc hiểu 1 là môn thực hành kỹ năng đọc hiểu thứ nhất trong 4 cấp độ
đọc hiểu của chương trình đào tạo cử nhân hệ đại học. Trong khoá học này, sinh viên
nên đọc nhiều thể loại bài đọc khác nhau về các chủ đề khác nhau và thực hành các kỹ
năng đọc. Chẳng hạn như sinh viên sẽ đọc 20 bài đọc trong Q: Skills for Success 3
hơn 100 câu chuyện ngắn trong Elementary Stories for Reproduction 1, Introductory
Stories for Reproduction 2 và Elementary Stories for Reproduction và những bài
đọc được trích ra từ các nguồn khác.
3. MỤC TIÊU MÔN HỌC
3.1 Mục tiêu chung
Môn học Đọc hiểu 1 khuyến khích sinh viên tham gia tích cực vào quá trình phát
triển kỹ năng đọc. Sinh viên cần phải hình thành ý tưởng trước khi đọc, nhận ra ý
quan trọng trong quá trình đọc, nhận xét và thảo luận ý chính. Sinh viên tương tác với
thông điệp của tác giả và với các sinh viên khác.
3.2 Mục tiêu cụ thể
3.2.1 Kiến thức và kỹ năng
Môn học Đọc hiểu 1 giúp sinh viên trở thành người đọc độc lập tập trung vào
việc nắm vững các kỹ năng đọc hiểu trong quá trình đọc. Sinh viên có thể nhận ra ý
chính các bài đọc, phân loại và sắp xếp thông tin, tóm tắt ý, đoán nghĩa từ ngữ cảnh…
Ngoài ra, sinh viên còn phát triển khả năng tự học và khả năng làm việc nhóm.
3.2.2 Thái độ
Môn học này giúp xây dựng cho sinh viên có thái độ học tập nghiêm túc, nhiệt
tình, hợp tác và yêu thích đọc sách. Sinh viên có nhận thức đúng về vai trò của môn
Đọc hiểu đối với các kỹ năng nghe, nói và viết.
