tanungin ang mag – aaral kung ano ang pagkakaunawa nila sa binasa.
2. Ano ang kaugnayan ng kasabihan sa babasahing kuwento?
3. Ang mga mag-aaral ay babasahin ang kuwento sa pahina 102.
4. Pag – uusapan ang mga sagot ng mga mag – aaral.

I. Objectives:
a. Students will perform with appropriate dynamics and timbre the accompaniment to a
song from their repertoire using non-pitched percussion instruments.

II. Subject Matter: Timbre and Dynamics

b. Review / Motivation:
 Review the concept of beat, and have students clap the beat as they sing the
song. Clap the rhythm patterns of the song and have students echo them.
 Have students sing the selected song.

c. Discussion
 Present simple ostinatos for the song, aurally or with notation, depending on
the level of the group.
 Ask the students to read and clap (or echo) the ostinatos.
 Have students discuss possible timbres for the different accompaniment
patterns. Then distribute the instruments to students.
 Rehearse the ostinatos, adding a dynamics scheme for phrases that are
identical.
 Have students perform the song. After a successful performance, have the
students switch parts, switch between singing and playing, or both.

IV. Generalization:

a. To learn about the history of printmaking.
b. To understand the printmaking process and how it is related to common day
via letters/cards.
c. To gain a better understanding of what represents their current personalities
and interests via specific shapes and patterns, landscapes, animals, cars,
flowers, etc.
d. To view how other’s interests affect their work.
e. To explore the aesthetics of cards and stationary.
f. To use a system of communication that is slowly becoming less utilized but
develops empathy and appreciation to receiving mail hand written instead of
an instant internet message.

II. Subject Matter: Print Making


Materials:
 Reference images, drawing tools, shape templates, printing plate (white cover stock
– double weight card/pre-cut recycled cardboard), white cover stock – single weight,
water based printmaking ink (yellow, red, blue), brayer, barren, cartridge paper
(printing), scissors, glue stick

 Students explore and identify the parts of plants (stem, flower, stamen, pistil, leaf).

abstract art and how O’Keeffe’s paintings are considered abstract paintings. Discuss
personal approaches and reflections

b. To name different types of rhythmic movement.
c. To echo the rhythmic patterns of others.

II. Subject Matter: Rhythm and Movements


Materials:

 Something to write on that can be seen by the entire group such as a chalkboard or
chart paper.
 Balls, hoops, mats, or other props
 Music, choose something with varying tempos and rhythms

B. Review / Motivation:
 Before any student in either group makes a sound using hands, have the entire class
repeat the commands of the rhythmic pattern below in unison. Then, direct each group
on cue, when to perform their rhythmic pattern.

C. Discussion
Discuss with students the different ways they can make rhythms. On the board or
chart paper, have students list at least 10-12 different ways to make a rhythm.
They can include simple things like snapping their fingers or dribbling a ball. Have
students practice humming or clapping the rhythm of simple rhymes. 
Make sure each student can see the list of movements. Have the students get
into pairs. One student should make a rhythm using the suggestions on the board
or some original ideas of their own. The other student should then try and echo
the rhythm of their partner. Give each student several tries at making an original
rhythm. They may use props of any kind or the mats. You can then play the
music and have the pairs work together to produce a series of movements that
keep in time with the music. If time permits, allow them to share

their rhythms with the class and challenge the class to echo them .

 Make the list shorter for fewer options.


 Allow students to make up a pattern of rhythms without the use of music.

V. Generalization:
Discuss with students which movements were the easiest to do along with the
music. Also, see if they preferred to follow faster music or music that followed a
slower rhythm. To assess these Physical Education lesson plans, watch the

students perform the movements as they follow the rhythm .

Consumer Health

Guide question
 What are the words that comes to your mind?
Consumer Health refers to the decision you make about the purchase of product and use of
health information and services that will have direct effect on your health.
Consumer health encompasses all aspects of the market place related to the purchase of
health products and services. It involves the facts and understanding that enable people to
make wise choices.

 Consumer health has three components the health


information, health products, and health services

 What is health information?

It is the data and facts you get from media and people including professionals and
agencies
 What are health products?
Are those substances materials or equipment prepared or manufactured for you to buy and
use in the maintenance of health and treatment of disease.

Examples of health products are food, drugs, vaccines and household hazardous
substances. Aside from information and products, people also avail various health services
from different providers.

 What are health services?


Refer to health information, actions procedure or supplied to health satisfy your needs and
wants as consumer.

These programs aims to appraise the health conditions of individuals through screening and
examinations, cure and treat disorders to prevent, and control the spread of diseases
provide safety, emergency care and first aid, and ensure a follow-up program for individuals
who have undergone treatment.

IV. Generalization:
 We must be aware of the information, products and services about consumer health
because prevention is better than cure.
