Explanation: One of the dinosaurs is trying
to convince the others that Mother Nature
doesn’t take care of life on Earth. He then
alludes to the dinosaurs dying and Mother
Earth not helping them.

Audience: Theorists Evidence: “Folks say things like… thats


weird”
Evidence: “I say we adopt some new
metaphors”
Explanation: Theorists think of out of the
box explanations that don’t conform to the
standard beliefs of society.

Purpose: Provide an alternate perspective Evidence: “That's weird you guys”


about the title of Mother Earth Evidence: “I say we adopt some new
metaphors”
Explanation: The dinosaur is trying to
explain that Mother Earth doesn’t act as a
mother figure so, it’s weird that “Mother
Earth” is the metaphor used to describe the
Earth.
