Types of Garbage

Our government implements a program and laws regarding proper waste

disposal. With the help of various media such as radio, television, newspapers,
and advertisements, the proper method of waste disposal is announced. There are
many ways to dispose of waste. Either way, keep in mind that your trash is not
wanted by others either. So, it is only right to dispose of it in the proper way that
will not disturb others. One of the important knowledge to follow is the
breakdown of our waste:

A. Biodegradable - such as leftover food, leaves or any part of the plant that has fallen off or dried up

B. Recyclable Items - Things that can still be used or sold such as paper, cardboard, cans, metal or steel,
empty bottles, plastic, and scraps.

C. Hospital Wastes - Disposable or infectious wastes such as bloody or used cotton swabs, and disposable
diapers

D. Hazardous - Containers or containers that are toxic or can explode or injure such as broken bottles, old 6g
batteries, and insect spray containers and the like

Remember!
When waste is collected in the appropriate container, the spread of disease-
carrying germs can be prevented. It will also help the garbage collectors to
work smoothly and quickly.

Let's keep in mind

Separating waste (garbage and segregation) and placing it in the right containers is important for the health
of waste collectors. Garbage, before being given to garbage collectors, should be placed in sealed plastic bags to
prevent them from re -spreading. Waste that can be recycled or reused will be sold to bottlers and caners.
This should be done for the safety of all and to facilitate the collection and disposal of waste. It must be
borne in mind that the garbage thrown in the wrong way will come back again with more tragedy.
