Project Title: Project OHSTE (Occupational Health and Safety Training Enhancement to Students and Teachers
in TVL-Home Economics)
Problem Statement:
1. Insufficient knowledge and skills training regarding Occupational Health and Safety of teachers and
students.
Objective Statement:
1. To provide sufficient training and workshop for TVL-Home Economics Teachers and students teaching technical
skills.
2. To enhance teacher and student’s OHS skills and become updated on the new trends and application of OHS to
their field of specialization.
3. To promote safety and sanitation during practical work.
4. To ensure safety school laboratories and followed the enterprise standard on safety and sanitation.

Root Cause: Lack of enhancement training and focus regarding OHS. Insufficient knowledge and skills training
regarding OHS.
