This quote helped me understand that the only thing that is predictable about this world is its
unpredictability and this is the philosophy that I apply to my life.
Born and raised in Hyderabad, I was exposed to the business world at a very young age
because of my father’s pharmaceutical business. I gave the field of business an earnest
consideration after I realised the potential that the business industry has to offer only to discover
my knack and passion for it. I was intrigued by the functioning of the supply chain and the stock
market, and my curiosity grew further during my high school years at Delhi Public School,
Hyderabad. I ventured into a variety of projects related to Foreign Exchange, Marketing
Management, Business Planning and Financial Accounting which have strengthened my
foundational understanding of the field of Commerce.

I am applying for the BBA with Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Program offered by
Woxsen School of Business. My interest in Trading and Finance brings me to pursue this course
because of the diversity in the program and the application of what I am taught in case studies
and projects that I am assigned. Changing trends have highlighted the significance of AI and
ML, along with Data Sciences and the idea of infusing these sciences with commerce thrills me.
I was very impressed when I read about Woxsen’s unique course curriculum involving a
capstone project which will help me gain a superior understanding of different spheres of
business such as Business Analytics, Business Law, Economics, Accounting and Human
Resource Management which have an impeccable usage in practicality. Further, Woxsen’s
provision of internships, group projects, seminars, workshops and extracurricular activities
reinforce its promise of holistic development. Its approach entails experiential learning, which
would equip me with the perfect amount of theoretical and practical knowledge required. The
diversity and flexibility of courses offered by your institution provide for exposure and
experimentation with a wide range of avenues.
I would describe myself as a confident and meticulous candidate who believes in working smart
and being spontaneous. I believe that knowledge is of absolute value when it can be applied
practically, in the real world and Woxsen’s curriculum caters to this very belief. I approach my
work with dedication, commitment and a desire to learn which helps me make the most of it. I
also work very well under pressure because I strongly hold that where there is a problem there
is also a solution.
Further, the experience of a residential facility is invaluable to me especially because I believe in
the power of a community. I enjoy working in groups, learning from those around me and
exchanging ideas. In the future, I see myself working as a Data Business Analyst or a Retail
Sales Analyst. I am also interested in Market Research and Developments.
