 Review requisitions for completeness and accuracy, follow up on discrepancies
with the initiating department and identify available suppliers for each
requisitioned item. Convert Process requisitions into purchase orders using SAP.
 Develop and challenge resources to improve performance through systems
utilization and process improvements. Depth knowledge and working experience
related to operational procurement processes, and identifies opportunities for
cost and process improvements accountable for vendors cost, quality, service and
delivery performance against pre- defined KPI.
 Review shipping performance with provider to make sure their performance is
up to standard for on time delivery with Sharp focus on quality of material.
Responsible for day-to-day operational procurement activities, from
monitoring and improvement of supply chain performance, drive negotiation to
achieve cost down/cost
  avoidances, new vendor sourcing and introduction (deploying RFI/RFP/RFQ
techniques for competitive analysis, preparing cost sheets for various activities,
and analyze cost structures and negotiating rates for moving items.
 Follow procurement and purchasing procedures and Bringing new ideas and
Process Improvement for the business
 Resolve payment related queries of vendors, responsible for resolving buyer
queue timely.
 Interact with the client / users and Suppliers and respond to their queries
related to Purchasing activities.
 Implementing Cost reduction mechanisms by availing quantity discounts,
repeat Ordering, product/material substitution, alternate sourcing etc.
 Implementing JIT, FIFO, LIFO, 5S etc.
