ON THE SPOT SPOKEN POETRY COMPETITON

GUIDELINES & MECHANICS

COMPETITION RULES & GUIDELINES:

I. Entry
-The participants must be a bonafide resident of Quezon, Quezon.
-Participant must submit the following requirements:
a. Duly Accomplished Entry Form (issued by SKMF Office)
b. Xerox Copy of Cedula
c. Xerox Copy of Vaccination Card/ Vax E-Certificate

-First come, first serve. Only the first 7 groups who will submit the complete
requirements will be qualify for the competition.
-Deadline for the submission of requirements will be on September 14, 2022 at
SKMF Office
-Only one participant shall represent a school, barangay or an organization.

II. General Guidelines

- The competition is open to all bonafide youth resident of Quezon, Quezon
- Each participant is expected to arrive 15 minutes before the program at the appointed place
to conduct the draw lots.
- Each participant is free to wear whatever clothes fit the celebration.
- The topic/theme will be announced right before the program start. They will be given
enough time to think while waiting for their turn to present.
-Each participant will be given 3-5 minutes to perform.

III. Judging

1. Judging of On the Spot Spoken Word Poetry Competition will be on September 26, 2022 |
1 in the afternoon at Quezon Municipal Covered Court.
2. Judging shall be based on the following critera:

-.Content (Imagery, Attitude And Personal) 25%

-Voice Projection And Expression 25%
-Enunciation 20%
-Facial Expression & Gestures 15%
-Audience Impact 15%
Total 100%
Decisions of the Contest Jury are final and irrevocable. The verdict cannot be
appealed.

IV. Prizes
1st Placer - 1, 500.00 + Trophy & Certificate
2nd Placer - 1, 000.00 + Certificate
3rd Placer - 500.00 + Certificate
4 Consolation - 300.00 + Certificate

Announcement and awarding of winners will be on September 26, 2022 at the Gabi ng Kabataang
Quezonians & Awards Night (7:00 pm) and we encourage everyone to wear a proper/ casual attire
upon attending.
