Project Proposal

I. Title/Project : National Women’s Month Celebration

II. Rationale :

Every year, the National Women’s Month Celebration is observed in accordance with the
International Women’s Day (IWD). The following issuances serve as legal foundation:
Proclamation No. 224,227 s. 1988, declaring the First Week of March of Every Year as
Women’s Week, and Republic Act No. 6949 s 1990 declaring March 8 as Women’s Rights
and International Peace Day.

This celebration aims to raise awareness among teachers, learners, and non-teaching
personnel of Eduardo Cojuangco Vocational National High School Senior High School
Department about the women’s rights and their contribution to the society consonantly
with the theme, “WE for gender equality and inclusive society.” alongside with the
official hashtag #WEcanbeEquAll from March 1 to March 31, 2018.

This will be participated by the teachers, learners, and non-teaching personnel,

especially women of ECNAVOC Senior High School Department in recognizing
gender equality and sensitivity.

III. Objective:
The focus of this celebration is to raise awareness about gender equality and women’s
rights.
IV. Methodology

The said celebration will include different activities in spreading awareness about
women’s right and contribution to the society from March 1 to 31, 2023.

V. Activities
March 1-31, 2023- Month- Long Celebration of Women’s Month
March 06, 2023- Flag Ceremony- Acknowledgement of Women’s Right.
March 08, 15, 22, and 29, 20223- Wearing of Purple Shirts
