리사이클링이나 재활용등의 방법을 적극적으로 시행하고 있습니다.
참고로, 유럽연합에서는 플라스틱 제품에 대한 재활용률을 다음과 같이 제시하고
있습니다.
•2025 년까지 PET 병 제품의 재활용률은 77%이상
•2025 년까지 다른 플라스틱 패키징 제품의 재활용률은 55%이상
•2030 년까지 모든 플라스틱 패키징 제품의 재활용률은 65%이상

인도에서도 PE BAG 을 사용할 때, 환경인증 제도가 있습니다. 인도에서는 환경 보호를

위해 다양한 인증 제도를 도입하고 있으며, 이러한 인증 제도는 PE BAG 을 비롯한 다양한
환경 친화적인 제품에 적용됩니다.
인도에서 주요환경 인증 기관으로 “Bureau of Indian Standards” (BIS) 및 “Central Pollution
control Board” (CPCB)있습니다. BIS 인증은 제품이 인도 표준을 충족하는지 확인하고,
CPCB 인증은 제품이 환경적으로 안전한지 여부를 확인합니다. 또한, 인도에서는 “Plastic
Waste Management Rules, 2016”과 같은 법규가 시행되고 있습니다. 이 법규는 플라스틱
폐기물을 관리하기 위한 규정을 제시하고 있으며 PE bag 과 같은 플라스틱 제품을 생산,
수입, 판매 및 사용할 때 특정 조건을 충족시켜야 합니다.

한국의 대표적인 화학 업체들 중에는 ESG 지표에 플라스틱 재활용을 반영하는 기업도
있습니다. 예를 들어, LG 화학은 ESG 지표 중 하나로 ‘재활용 가능 제품 비율”을 평가하고
있습니다. 또한 한국 정부도 플라스틱 재활용을 적극적으로 추진하고 있으며, 이를 위해
관련 법규를 강화하고 있습니다. 예를 들어, 2021 년 1 월부터는 플라스틱 제품의 생산과
수입에 대해 재활용 비율 50% 이상을 적용하는 등, 플라스틱 재활용 촉진을 위한 제도도
도입하고 있습니다.
