3. Đơn vị thực hiện thử nghiệm giới hạn chịu lửa của mẫu kết cấu được bọc bảo vệ bằng các chất hoặc
vật liệu chống cháy; mẫu cấu kiện ngăn cháy

Đơn vị được thực hiện việc thử nghiệm giới hạn chịu lửa của mẫu kết cấu được bọc bảo vệ bằng các chất
hoặc vật liệu chống cháy; mẫu cấu kiện ngăn cháy (cửa ngăn cháy, vách ngăn cháy, van ngăn cháy, màn
ngăn cháy…) là đơn vị phải có năng lực thử nghiệm theo quy định của quy chuẩn, tiêu chuẩn tương ứng.
Thời điểm hiện tại có thể thực hiện việc thử nghiệm này tại Viện khoa học Công nghệ Xây dựng - Bộ Xây
dựng (IBST).

At this moment only IBST laboratory is certified for fire-proofing testing

Internal documentaries from C07 to FF police department in Vietnam

Documentary 3150/C07-P4,P7 29-Nov-2021

In case fire-proofing materials are not within Appendix F of QC06-2021, fire-proofing material must be
certified by C07 and in design drawing shows details about: thickness, dosage, weight, type of each
layer of coverage, method of statement for applying proofing layer, lifetime and replacement.

At this moment (until 29-Nov-2021) IBST has tested some types of fire-proofing but neither of them
passed the test. So C07 was not issued Certification for any type of fire proofing material. Thus, C07
request FF department of all area must careful review FF approval design and recommend to investor
about solution to enhance Fire proofing for structures to avoid after getting FF appraisal but it is not
satisfactory during final FF inspection.

Documentary 337/C07-P4,P7 17-Feb-2022

There are 03 method to determine fire-proofing capacity of material:

- Calculate follow fire resistance of structures( at present, TCVN does not have specific code to
perform this analysis, Investor may apply International standard for calculation)
- If fire-proofing material is complied to Appendix F-QC06-2021. Applied fire-proofing material
must be shown details in FF approval drawings. This material must be proofed that it is qualified
to comply to Appendix F
- Fire-proofing material have similar characteristics to tested material (Certified by C07)

Outstanding issues in applying of fire-proofing material

Fire-proofing paints manufacture in Vietnam have not passed the fire test and not certified
C07 has issued letter to MOC to get guideline and approval for method of selecting sample for fire-
proofing material => Appendix of Documentary 337/C07-P7,P4
