NARRATIVE REPORT ON LEADERSHIP TRAINING OF SPG

OFFICERS AND TEACHER-ADVISERS

Supreme Pupil Government for the school year 2022-23 attended leadership training entitled
ONE ALICIA: Leadership Training for Youth Leaders #BIGKIS (Batang Isabeleno Gabay sa
Kinabukasan ng Iisang Sambayanan) held at Alicia Community Center last April 15, 2023. A
whole day training from 8am to 5pm wherein 35 pupils from the different schools in Alicia
participated. Each school was represented by their own SPG officers specifically, the President.

The first part of the program was the registration of the participants. It was strictly
monitored by the training facilitators of different districts, followed by the program proper. First
and foremost, a prayer and nationalistic song. The participants was proudly and heartily
welcomed by the District Supervisors, Sir Bernie, Sir Agawid and Ma’am Maribel. An
inspirational talk was shared with us by the Sanguiang Bayan Member, Alejandro.

Next part of the program was the leadership training proper, the Districts’ YFP
coordinators were the facilitators of the said training. Next to the training was the engagement of
participants followed by the leveling of expectations. Speakers shared about Effective
Leadership and encouraged everyone to Turn Yourself into a Powerful Leader, after several talks
a special snack was serve to the participants. The speakers also discussed thoroughly the SPG
Duties and Responsibilities. Next, the facilitators and speakers boosted the SPG officers’
personality by building positive self – image, the most challenging part of the training wherein
the participants showcase their skills and potentials as leaders they possess. They should develop
their leadership skills a way where they can test themselves to be more effective and efficient
leaders. And lastly, the most awaited part of the training was the awarding of winners and
certificates to the participants. Indeed, a whole day full of learning and exciting experience for
the leaders.
