I. OBJECTIVES:
A. Preparatory Activities
1. Drill
- Prayer
- Singing an action song, “Watermelon”
- Reciting their rhymes, “Ang Gamay nga Ulod”
- Setting Classroom Rules such as, listening when the teacher is talking, work quietly, no
roaming around and raising right hand if ever wants to talk.
- Unsa gani tong atong sabot? Magdrawing si Maam og Smiley sa board, kong kinsa kadtong
row nga sabaan og wala nagfollow sa rules hinay hinayan ni maam og erase ang baba sa inyong
smiley. Kong kinsa kadtong smiley nga wala nahurot adunay premyo nga madawat. Unsa gani
ang premyo? Yes, palitan og snacks ni maam.
-Hip! Hip! Hooray! Ready na? , ready na? , now the class is ready to start.
2. Review
- Post on the board the short story of, “Pat and the Cat”, say, the row who read it clear and
lively will get an extra star and have a prize tomorrow, yeyyy!!!
- The teacher read the short story, the pupils repeat
3. Unlocking of Difficulties
- use word or pictures, context clues or action to unlock the following words
-let them read, say; I read it first, and then you, and all together

B. Presentation
Say: “ Ang antipara ni Lola, ibutang sa lamesa, ang kamot ibutang sa paa, maminaw sa estorya
ang baba sipiran ta”
Say; This story written by Aesop, entitled, “The Boy Who Cried Wolf”
Ready na ! Ready Na!
-Tell the story lively, exciting and fun though the use of pictures.
A young shepherd boy was watching his sheep at the foot of a mountain. He was lonely so he
wanted to have fun. He called out, “wolf! wolf!”. People came help him but there was no wolf. A
few days later, he did the same trick and the people got mad.
C. Generalization
One day, a wolf really came and attacked his sheep. The boy cried “wolf! wolf! but nobody came to
help him. The wolf killed and ate his sheep.

Activity 1: Think-Pair-Share.

Say: I am going to pair you accordingly, I will give you an activity sheets for you to answer.The

Each pair will be given a coloring and tracing sheets.
Let the pupils post their activities on the board, give them feedback and reward.
Activity 3: Games
Group the pupils by 5. Each group will be given cut-out pictures and masking tape. Each
member must participate. The group who win will receive a prize.
