Learning should continue. This maxim is especially true in almost all educational institution.
Consequently, the development of the distance learning program has become a necessity.

In line with the implementation of the Republic Act no. 10533, the Enhanced Basic Education Act of
2013, the Department of Education (DepEd), issued the policy on The Learning Action Cell (LAC) as a k to 12
Basic Education Program School-Based Continuing Professional Development Strategy for the improvement

Through this policy and in the desire to support DepEd’s mandates and provide assistance to the
teachers, Kipaypayon Elementary School conducted a 2-hour session on the Learning Action Cell on the
following learning goals. Performing various related works/activities that contribute to the teaching-learning
process. Select, develop, organize and use appropriate teaching and learning resources, including ICT, to
address learning goals. Ensure the positive use of ICT to facilitate the teaching and learning process. Apply a
range of teaching strategies to develop critical and creative thinking skills. And plan and deliver teaching
strategies that are responsive to the special education needs of learners in difficult circumstances.

The schedule of conducting LAC in the school was set and made possible because of the collaboration
of the heads who facilitated the training. It started with the School-Based Orientation and workshop on the
process of conducting Action Research in Basic Education with Ma’am Maricar Liza E. Monterde, followed by

Remoroza. Another is “Creating E- Learning Instructional Videos using Video Editor Application by Ma’am
Hanna Lou B. Balandra and last but not the least is the “Mental Health Awareness for teaching Personnel by
