Lesson idea implementation:


I will prompt this lesson by showing the students my sway story about how cats communicate
with us, this will get the ball moving. The students will know what their goal is because the
goals will be on the board. Students will use technology in this lesson by creating their own
Sway story. The teacher will assess how the students are performing and will help whenever

needed. Feedback will be provided for students during the production process.

Managing the technology/engagement: Describe a way to use this technology in a way that
gets students actively involved in authentic tasks and contexts? How will you manage the
classroom behaviors on the technology:
Co-use/Co-engagement for using different browsers to gather information as well as Sway.
Exploration activities to extend their learning about a topic, time-on-task with continued
focus on the learning goal, by letting them tell their stories.

Universal Design for Learning (UDL):


Action and Expression because this allows the students to show their thoughts and feeling as
well as their likes to other students as well as the teacher.

Reflecting on enhanced learning:


I believe this lesson will be fun and interactive for the students because, this allows them to
be creative and not be constricted to certain topics to write about that they aren’t interested
in. I would love to implement this into my classroom and I am so grateful to have found
Microsoft Sway.
