Upon successful completion of this lesson, the psychology student can:
1. Discuss the history of Philippine Psychology in line with the four filiations;
2. Explain the medico-religious system; and
3. Differentiate the concept of faith healing in the past and in the present times.
LESSON REVIEW (5 minutes)
As a review of the previous discussion, the instructor will ask the students the following:

 Benepisyo: Makakatulong ang mga foreign terms sa pag-unawa sa mga konsepto sa Sikolohiya na
walang katumbas na salita sa wikang Filipino.
 Hadlang: Maaaring magdulot ito ng pagkakaroon ng kulang o maling interpretasyon ng mga konsepto
