One of the most popular artworks of the Renaissance is Leonardo da Vinci’s, Mona Lisa. There are a lot of controversies regarding the subject of the portrait. As grade 9 art
students, you will be creating a self-portrait with a twist. You will be painting yourself as someone else. If you are a man, you can paint yourself as a woman or vice versa; or you
can paint yourself like a rock star or Greek God, etc. Use your creativity, and think out of the box. Your product will be graded according to the following criteria; creativity,
presentation, content, and craftsmanship.
