Subject: Complaint letter for lack of water supply on 13/10/2023 We are writing to express our dissatisfaction with the service we received from your company on 13/10/2023. We are a sub-contractor under SINOHAYDRO for kotebe project, and we have been working diligently to meet the deadlines and quality standards. However, on 13/10/2023, we faced a serious issue that affected our work and our workers’ health and safety. On that day, your company did not provide water for drinking and washing for our workers, despite our repeated requests and reminders. This was a violation of the contract terms and the basic human rights of our workers. As a result, all of our workers had to leave the site half a day earlier, as they could not continue working without water. This caused us a loss of productivity and revenue, as well as damage to our reputation and goodwill. Moreover, we were obligated to pay our workers their half-day salary, as it was not their fault that they could not work. We are therefore requesting that you compensate us for the money we paid to our workers due to your negligence. There were 25 carpenters, 13 bar benders and 32 labors The total amount is [13650 birr], which is based on the number of workers and their hourly rates. We have attached the payroll records and receipts as proof of payment. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. Sincerely,
