is the best way to promote good health that will improve the quality of life in the

community. Practicing wellness can have a positive effect on the lives of every

individual.

A.5 Rationale

Physical fitness is a growing area of interest and concern for those who work

with today's aging population. The rapid increase in the number of people over 65

has brought more attention to helping people develop and maintain optimal health

throughout their entire life span. Lack of wellness programs can affect the lives of

everyone. It has an impact on the wellbeing of the person because he/she could not

give their best physically and mentally. Thus, a wellness program plays a vital role

in providing healthy body and mind.
