ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Mary Lyn T. De Guzman
has been in the education
field for nine years. Part of
her teaching experience
was at Nuestra Senora del
Pilar Parochial School, Pilar,
Capiz, where she taught in
Kindergarten for two years.
At present, she is a Grade 6
teacher at Pilar Elementary
School teaching English,
Science, and TLE (ICT) subjects.
She obtained her Bachelor of Elementary
Education, Magna cum Laude, at Capiz State
University. She has been a trainer in various division,
regional, and national contests in Campus
Journalism, Science Mega Quiz, and Poster Making
sponsored by the Department of Education and
Pambansang Samahan sa Edukasyon sa
Pagpapakatao (PSEP).
She was awarded by the Schools Division of
Capiz during the Pasidungog 2018 for being the
trainer of the National Champion of the Poster
Making Contest sponsored by PSEP in 2017.
