It was six o’clock
and time to rise.

It was time to make

another day nice.

2
3
Jenny woke up
and fixed her bed.

“Today will be a
great day,” she said.

4
5
Very quickly,
she made
herself ready.

Bathed, ate,
she did not miss any.

6
7
“Goodbye, Father!
Goodbye, Mother!

Today will be
my best day ever.”

8
9
Happily, she walked
her way to school.

She was lively

and very cheerful.

10
11
“Good morning!”
she never failed
to say

to all she met along

the way.

12
13
That day in school
was full of fun.

There were games

and prizes
for everyone.

14
15
Quickly, time
passed and then
came noon.

She wished the day

did not end soon.

16
17
Later that night before
going to bed,

she knelt down, closed

her eyes and said,

“Thank you Lord for

this wonderful day.

I hope tomorrow
will be like today.”
