PROJECT PROPOSAL
RATIONALE:
The learners across the nation are facing the challenging situations in
adjusting with the educative process, yet they are performing multiple tasks
through the learning guides of Most Essential Learning Competencies (MELCS).
Hence, Leonarda D. Vera Cruz National High School Grade 10 Teachers are
looking forward and making decisions based on a learning perspective. They are
constantly walking a tightrope of keeping students motivated while not letting their
morale down. Therefore, in support of an all-encompassing improvement of Filipino
students, it is critical to veer away from esteeming just scholastic accomplishment
and move toward a more holistic scope of student achievement.
In line with DepEd Order 36, s. 2015, Policy Guidelines on Awards and
Recognition for the K to12 Basic Education Program, stated that all learners,
including transferees, who have met the standards, criteria, and guidelines set by
this policy shall be recognized. Grade 10 teachers recognize and commend
students’ accomplishments in different learning areas and give formal
acknowledgement that could persuade students to make progress toward greatness
intellectual and social obligations. It is also basically the approach that urges all
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Project I- CARE 2022 is an intervention program among Grade 10- learners
wherein this serves as a reward reinforcement that can be clarified basically as
ideal consolation. Furthermore, the program aims to encourage learners to strive in
their studies, to motivate learners to continue studying despite of poverty and to
promote the love for studying and foster compassion.
The project intends to give all students an equal opportunity to be
recognized comparable to the standard set by the educational program and
spotlight on their own talents and performances rather than to compete with one
another. It also perceives that all learners have remarkable assets that should be
recognized and reinforced.
School factors that affect academic performance are enormous as observed.
However, it has been proven that the key school factor wphich directly influences
academic performance includes instructional material and supplies that aid the
learners to strive in their studies and ignite their academic performance. The
project also covers learners who are at risk of dropping out through extending
support and assistance.
I. OBJECTIVES
1. To encourage learners to strive in their studies
2. To motivate learners to continue studying despite of poverty
3. To promote the love for studying and foster compassion towards others
4. To extend assistance to learners at risk of dropping out
V. BUDGETARY REQUIREMENTS:
All the Grade 10- advisers will seek sponsorship quarterly from the
stakeholders to sustain the supplies for the project’s need. This is a voluntary
sponsorship and the funds to be collected will be liquidated with transparency.
