position and the couples pass their feet instead of close them at the end of measures (no box steps in
International Style!) The timing is more complex and there are new technique challenges such as heel
turns. American Style Foxtrot is the easiest Smooth dance; International Style Foxtrot is the most
difficult.

Viennese Waltz songs include “The Blue Danube” and “The Skater’s Waltz.”

Upang maiwasan ang mga negatibong epekto na ito, mahalaga na malaman natin kung paano
gamitin ang teknolohiya nang wasto. Dapat nating siguraduhin na hindi ito nakakaapekto sa ating
kalusugan at kabutihan. Maaari nating gawin ito sa pamamagitan ng pagtatakda ng limitasyon sa
oras na ginugugol natin sa paggamit ng teknolohiya, tulad ng paglalaro ng video games o
panonood ng TV. Dapat din tayong maghanap ng iba pang mga paraan upang mapalitan ang mga
gawain na nakakatulong sa ating kalusugan at kabutihan, tulad ng pag-eheersisyo o
pakikipagtalastasan sa ibang tao.
Sa kabuuan, hindi dapat nating iwasan ang teknolohiya dahil ito ay mayroong maraming
benepisyo. Ngunit, mahalaga rin na malaman natin kung paano gamitin ito nang wasto upang

Ang Ating Buhay ay Nakadepende sa Teknolohiya

Ang teknolohiya ay naging isang mahalagang bahagi ng ating buhay, at mahirap isipin
ang isang daigdig na wala ito. Ginagamit natin ang teknolohiya para makipag-usap, magtrabaho,
matuto, at maglibang. Gayunman, may lumalaking pag-aalala tungkol sa ating pag-asa sa
teknolohiya, at sa posibleng negatibong mga kahihinatnan ng pag-asa na ito. Ang impluwensiya
ng teknolohiya ay hindi maikakaila, at ang epekto nito ay patuloy na lumalaki nang mabilis.
Maraming pakinabang ang teknolohiya. Ginawa nitong mas madali at mas maginhawa
ang ating buhay sa maraming paraan. Halimbawa, maaari na tayong makipag-usap sa mga tao sa
buong daigdig sa pamamagitan ng pag-click lamang ng isang pindutan. Maaari rin nating ma-

Gayunman, may ilang disbentaha rin sa ating pag-asa sa teknolohiya. Ang isa sa mga ikinabahala
ay ang pagiging adik sa teknolohiya. Ang mga tao ay maaaring gumugol ng maraming oras sa
kanilang mga telepono o computer, anupat binabalewala ang iba pang mahahalagang aspeto ng
kanilang buhay. Karagdagan pa, ang teknolohiya ay maaaring gamitin upang kumalat ng maling
impormasyon at propaganda. Noong nakaraan, kailangang matuto ang mga tao na malutas ang
kanilang mga problema nang mag-isa. Gayunman, ngayon tayo'y makapagtitiwala sa teknolohiya

pang paraan upang mabawasan ang ating pag-asa sa teknolohiya ay ang pag-aaral ng mga
bagong kasanayan. Ito'y magbibigay sa atin ng isang bagay na gagawin kapag hindi natin
ginagamit ang teknolohiya, at ito'y magbibigay din sa atin ng higit na katatagan. Sa wakas,
kailangan nating maging mas kritikal sa impormasyon na nakikita natin sa online. Hindi natin
dapat paniniwalaan ang lahat ng ating binabasa, at dapat nating suriin ang impormasyon mula sa
maraming pinagkukunan.
Ang teknolohiya ay isang makapangyarihang kasangkapan, at maaari itong gamitin para
sa mabuti o para sa masama. Mahalaga na malaman ang posibleng negatibong mga kahihinatnan
ng ating pag-asa sa teknolohiya, at gumawa ng mga hakbang upang mabawasan ang ating pag-
asa dito. Sa pamamagitan ng pagiging mas maingat sa kung paano natin ginagamit ang
teknolohiya at sa pamamagitan ng pag-aaral ng mga bagong kasanayan, maaari nating lumikha
ng isang mas balanseng relasyon sa teknolohiya.
Dinisenyo upang ihanda ang mga mag-aaral na nagpapahayag ng masidhing interes sa pagkuha ng mga degree
sa kolehiyo na nakatuon sa Science, Technology, Engineering, at Mathematics (STEM), ang mga senior high
school na mag-aaral ay magiging nakalantad sa mga aktibidad sa pag-aaral na magpapahusay sa kanilang
kaalaman at kasanayan sa pag-aaral ng data, pag-unawa sa mga epekto sa totoong mundo, at pagsasagawa ng
pananaliksik.

Sa aking pinarangalan na guro at mga tagapakinig, magandang umaga

Tinukoy ko ang mga kadahilanan ng mga mag-aaral sa pagpili ng STEM strand na may potensyal na makisali
sa mga mag-aaral sa paghubog ng kanilang mga kasanayan alinsunod sa kanilang napili na kurso.

1) Karera, kung saan ang mag-aaral ay nagsasabi na ito ay may kaugnayan sa kurso na kanilang dadalhin sa
kolehiyo at sa trabaho na nais nila sa hinaharap.

2) Interes, sinabi ng ilang mag-aaral na nais nilang hamunin ang kanilang sarili sa Mathematics at Science
upang mapabuti ang kanilang mga pag-unawa at kasanayan.

3) Mga Pangyayari na Hindi Makokontrol, kung saan wala silang ibang pagpipilian dahil sa desisyon ng
kanilang magulang na kunin ang hiwa. Inaakala ng mga mag-aaral na ang STEM strand ay ang tamang
pagpipilian para sa kanila. Ang dalubhasang paksa tulad ng Mathematics at Science sa strand na ito ay
napakahalaga sa mga mag-aaral na nangangailangan ng mastery sa kanilang tertiary degree.

Ang STEM strand ay dinisenyo upang palakihin ang curiosity, problem solving ability, at communication
skills ng mga senior high school students. Sa STEM strand, ang mga nagtapos ay:

Ang malalaking porsyento ng mga mag-aaral sa STEM na may trabaho ay dahil sa patuloy na paglago ng
industriya at teknolohiya, at ang paglaki ng mga klase ng mga bagong gamot at pamamaraan sa paggamit ng
mga manggamot.

At dahil din dito, ay siya rin may malaking pag-unlad sa paggamit ng teknolohiya at pagdami ng mga
manggagawa na maaaring may kinalaman sa teknolohiya at makinarya.

Dahil sa pag-unlad ng mundo at teknolohiya ay siya ring pag-unlad ng buhay ng mga tao, maraming mga
kababaihan ang nagnanais magtayo ng mga negosyo sa kanilang sariling mga tahanan. Dahil dito, marami din
ang mga trabaho na kinakailangan ng mga engineer at arkitekto.

Ang larangan ng STEM ay naglalayong maging mas sibilisado sa ating mundo sa pamamagitan ng pagtuturo
sa mga kabataan kung paano gagamitin ang mga asignatura tulad ng matematika at kung paano magtatag ng
mga bagong istraktura sa kanilang komunidad.

Mga minamahal kong tagapakinig, magandang araw po sa inyong lahat. Ako po ay narito
ngayon upang ating pag-usapan tungkol sa isang napakahalagang disiplina na makakatulong sa
ating lahat upang umunlad at makapag-ambag sa lipunan. Ang STEM ay nangangahulugang
agham, teknolohiya, inhinyeriya, at matematika. Ito ang mga larangan na nag-uudyok ng
pagbabago at nag-aayos ng pinakamalaking problema sa mundo ngayon.
Ano nga ba ang larangan ng STEM? Ang STEM ay isang pangunahing disiplina na
nagtuturo ng mga konsepto sa agham, teknolohiya, inhinyero at matematika. Ito ay hindi lamang
isang pangkaraniwang kurso o asignatura na ating pinag-aaralan sa paaralan. Ito ay isang
mahusay na pondasyon para sa ating kinabukasan, lalo na kung nais nating magkaroon ng mga
trabahong mataas ang sahod at may malaking potensyal. Sa panahon ngayon, ang mundo ay
patuloy na nagbabago at umuunlad dahil sa mga makabagong teknolohiya at inobasyon. Ang
mga ito ay bunga ng mga pag-aaral at pagsisikap ng mga taong may kaalaman at kasanayan sa
STEM. Ang pag-aaral ng STEM ay nagbibigay sa atin ng maraming benepisyo at oportunidad.
Una, ito ay nagpapalawak ng ating kaalaman at nagpapahusay ng ating kasanayan sa iba’t ibang
larangan ng agham, teknolohiya, inhinyero at matematika. Ito ay nagtuturo sa atin kung paano
gamitin ang lohika, katwiran, imahinasyon at kreatibidad upang malutas ang mga problema at
makabuo ng mga solusyon. Pangalawa, ito ay nagpapataas ng ating kakayahang makipag-
ugnayan at makipagtulungan sa iba. Ito ay nagpapakita ng kahalagahan ng pagkakaroon
ng malikhaing paglutas ng problema at kritikal na pag-iisip. Pangatlo, ito ay nagpapalakas ng
ating kumpiyansa sa sarili at nagpapamulat sa atin ng mga posibilidad na maabot ang ating mga
pangarap.
Ang STEM ay isang napakagandang oportunidad para sa atin upang magkaroon ng isang
masaganang buhay. Ito ay isang hamon na dapat nating tanggapin at pagbutihin. Ito ay isang
oportunidad na dapat nating pahalagahan at gamitin. Ito ay isang tungkulin na dapat nating
gampanan at ibahagi. Sa pag-aaral ng STEM, hindi lamang natin napapabuti ang ating sarili,
kundi pati na rin ang ating pamilya, komunidad at bansa. Yon lamang po, maraming salamat!

Si Ani C. Natanauan ay isinilang noong ika-tatlumpo ng


Nobyembre taong 2005 sa probinsya ng Tiwi, Albay. Siya ay
labing pitong taong gulang na, pangalawang anak nina Clemen
C. Natanauan at Rommel A. Natanauan. Siya ay kasalukuyang
nakatira sa P-6 Tigbi, Tiwi, Albay. Taong 2018, nakapagtapos
ng elemetarya at ginantimpalaan siya bilang isa sa mga
estudyanteng may karangalan sa akademiko at ginawaran ng
karangalan sa Tiwi Central School. Siya ay nagtapos ng
sekondarya bilang Junior Highschool na ginawaran ng parangal
sa Virgin of Carmel High School of Tiwi Inc. taong 2022.
Kasalukuyan, siya ay nag aaral sa ika labing dalawang antas sa
paaralan ng Virgin of Carmel High School of Tiwi Inc. sa strand na Science, Technology,
Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) para sa kanyang maaring maging propesyon sa kolehiyo.

Una siyang pinangaralan sa akademiko noong siya ay nasa ika-apat ng baitang pa lamang sa
elementarya, simula noon nagpursige na siyang ipagpatuloy ito hanggang siya ay makapagtapos
ng sekondarya. Sumali sya sa organisasyon ng Girl Scouts of the Philippines noong siya ay nag-
aaral pa lamang sa elementarya. Siya rin ay nasali sa organisasyong ng Augustinian Recollect
Student Crusaders (ARSC) bilang isang representatibo ng kanilang seksyon, siya rin any isang
litratista o photographer sa kanilang paaralan.

Sa kasalukuyan, siya ay nag susumikap sa kanyang pag-aral upang makamit niya ang pangarap
niya bilang isang propesyonal na Nurse at upang maglingkod at maka-ambag sa larangan ng
medisina dahil sa nais na mapahusay at mapabuti ang pang-agham na pangangailangan ng mga
mamamayan, lalong-lalo na sa mga nangangailangan.

nakapagtapos at ginantimpalaan siya bilang Magna Cum Laude sa
kursong Bachelor of Science in Nursing sa Unibersidad ng Bikol at
kasalukuyan niyang tinatapos ang kanyang pag-aaral ng Master of
Science in Clinical Medicine (Surgery) sa Unibersidad ng Pilipinas
upang maglingkod at maka-ambag sa larangan ng medisina dahil sa
nais na mapahusay at mapabuti ang pang-agham na pangangailangan ng mga mamamayan,
lalong-lalo na sa mga nangangailangan. Sa kaniyang determinasyon at pagsisikap sa kanyang
gawain siya ay nakatanggap ng limpak-limpak na parangal sa larangan ng medisina.

Ilang beses na rin siyang naimbitahan sa maraming mga okasyon katulad ng sa paaralan ng
Ateneo De Manila University at Unibersidad ng Santo Tomas Manila upang magbigay ng
talumpati para sa mga mag-aaral. Siya ay nagpupursigeng makapasok sa St. Luke's Medical
Center Quezon City (SLMC) na kilala bilang isa sa mga nangunguna at pinakarespetadong
institusyon sa larangan ng nedisina habang pinagpapatuloy niya ang pag-aaral para sa kanyang

Ayon kay Kian Fernandez (March 18, 2022) Ang social media ay naging isang
mahalagang bahagi ng ating buhay. Nakatulong ito sa mga estudyanteng kagaya natin sapaggawa
ng mga gawain natin sa paaralan o pananaliksik. Nakapagpalawak ng bokabularyo sa mga
estudyanteng nagmit ng internet. Masasabing isa itong distraksyon sa kanilang social life
gayundin sa kanilang pag-aaral kaso hindi nila pinagtutuonan ng pansin ang mga magagandang
dulot nito sa mga mag-aaral. Malaki ang maitutulong nito ngunit na sa ating mga kamay parin

social media, batay sa isang pag-aaral. Pero sabi ng mga eksperto, kahit ang maikling break o
detox, malaki ang maitutulong para maayos ang emosyon at pagtingin sa sarili. Ayon kay Shake
Hocson (2019) Dahil sa social media nagkakaroon aniya ng tila "pagmamanhid" ng emosyon ang
labis na paggamit ng social media. Sa sobrang paggamit nito, napapabayaan na rin ang sarili at
minsan ay nakakalimutan na ang mga gawain. Para sa akin tama ang paguulat ng GMA News
dahil ang labis na paggamit ng social media ay maaaring magdulot ng pagkaadik at pagkasira ng
kalusugan ng isang indibidwal, na maaring magsanhi ng sakit tulad depression o anxiety. Pero
hindi ako sang-ayon na nagkakaroon ng pagkamahid ng damdamin ng dahil sa pagiging
masyadong abala sa social network. May pag-aaral aniya na sumusuporta rito, at kung lumala pa
ang sitwasyon ay maaaring magdulot ito ng pakiramdam na pagiging "out of place" at kaakibat
pa nitong mga mental disorder.

Konsesyon:
Nakasaad sa dyaryong Abante Tonte (2013), ang ay malaking epekto para sa mga
kaisipan ng mga bata. Maaaring positibo at negatiboang pananaw ng mga kabataan dito. Pero
para sa akin, mahalaga ito sa amin araw-araw, lalo na sa mga estudyanteng katulad ko. Ito ay
kapaki-pakinabang hindi lamang sa paaralan kundi pati na rin sa pang personal na antas, upang
mapadali at mapalawak ang ating kaalaman. Marami man itong masamang epekto ngunit dahil
dito naiiwasan natin pahirapan ang ating mga sarili at ito pa rin nakadepende sa kung paano natin
ito ginagamit na may posibilidad na maaari itong makaapekto sa atin.
